200g (8oz) sultanas 100g (4oz) raisins
100g (4oz) currants 150g (6oz) demerara sugar
125ml (1/4pt) hot tea 200g (8oz) selfR raising flour
1 egg
Mix together fruits, sugar and tea, cover and leave overnight.
Add beaten egg and then flour, stir well.
Place mixture into greased and lined 1kg (2lb) loaf tin. Bake for approx
11/2 hrs at 160°C/325°F/gas mark 3)

(In a 2lb loaf tin, 180°C, approx 40 mins)
Recipe:
100gms (4oz) Soft Margerine 2 Eggs & 4 tbsps Milk
150gms (6oz) Caster Sugar Grated rind of 1 Lemon
150gms (6oz) SR Flour Tin well greased and lined
Method:
Mix all ingredients together and bake.
Topping:
Juice of 1 Lemon and 3 rounded tbsps of Icing Sugar
Heat lemon and sugar together, cook gently until syrupy.
When cake is baked, prick all over with fork and pour over the mixture whilst in tin.
Leave to cool.

Points will be awarded for each article and for the staging which will count as the
6th item. Stand NOT TO EXCEED 5ft x 3ft.
The articles will be at the discretion of the Exhibitor except that the display
must contain:
1 Flower arrangement in container
2 Produce & 2 Handicraft Exhibits
Staging to be judged before the judging of individual items.
