Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not members of Ponies Association (UK) are allowed 14 days in which to become members and register their horses/ponies in order for the qualification to remain valid. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 2nd,3rd & 4th September 2011. Shows

407 The CHAPS (UK) Native/Cob/Traditional Open In-Hand Qualifier. Open to any size of horse or pony any age. *P(UK) – Qualification will be awarded to the 1st,2nd & 3rd Native type exceeding 14.2hh (148cms). 4 years old and over, not already qualified within the class placings to be shown in natural state or fully trimmed and hogged.
408 The CHAPS (UK) Non-Native Open Ridden Qualifier. Open to any size of Horse or Pony 4 years old & over. All exhibits to perform individual show and will not be ridden by the judge. *P(UK) – Qualification will be awarded to the 1st,2nd & 3rd NonR Native exceeding 15hh (153cms) and highest placed not exceeding 15hh (153cms) not already qualified within the class placings. RIDING PONY BREEDING NPS Silver Medal Championship Conditions. These classes are judged under the Rules of the NPS. NPS SilverMedal Rosettes are only awarded when the Owner of the champion pony is a Member of the NPS. A valid membership card must be in the riderʼs/handlerʼs possession on entering the ring and be produced immediately on request by either the judge or steward. If the Owner of the Champion pony is not a Member, or the Ownerʼs membership card is not immediately produced, the rosette may be awarded to the Reserve Champion provided they have the required membership card. If the Champion pony has previously qualified it is still entitled to the Silver Medal Rosette but the Qualification Card goes to the Reserve Champion pony, provided the Owner of that pony is a Member of the NPS. The Silver Medal Rosette and the Qualification Card can be awarded no lower than first Reserve (third). Foals are not eligible for Silver Medal Championships. Qualifiers are entitled to compete in the final of the Silver Medal Championship to be held at the NPS Summer Championship Show in August 2012.

BSPS “CLASSIC SECURITY (UK) LTD” CHALLENGE This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Challenge, the highest placed pony in the Lead Rein, First Ridden of Hunter Type, Open Show Pony, Open Show Hunter Pony, Cradle & Nursery Stakes and Open Working Hunter Pony, that has not qualified for the BSPS 2011 Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class will qualify.
